Oktoberfest in the Sky with Emirates Airline

Emirates Airline

Bavarian Cuisine and Entertainment Onboard

Emirates Airline is embracing the festive spirit of the renowned German celebration, Oktoberfest, known as the world’s largest Volksfest, featuring hops and a traveling festival.

This celebration extends to Emirates flights to and from Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Frankfurt. During the 16-day festival, from September 16 to October 3, passengers can savor the Oktoberfest experience in select airport lounges as well.

In this 188th edition of Oktoberfest, Emirates passengers are in for a treat. They can indulge in traditional Bavarian cuisine, including a starter, main course, and dessert, available for both lunch and dinner in Economy for outbound flights and in Business and First Class for inbound and outbound journeys.

Onboard the iconic A380 lounge, passengers can relish bistro bites with an Oktoberfest twist. World-class airport lounges in Munich and Düsseldorf offer a variety of classic Oktoberfest dishes.

But the entertainment doesn’t stop there. Passengers can choose from up to 45 German movies, over 300 Hollywood movies dubbed in German, and a collection of 13 classic Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies available in German, Italian, and English, all on Emirates’ award-winning inflight entertainment system.

In the airport lounges, Emirates flyers can tantalize their taste buds with dishes like Käsepätzle, the German version of mac and cheese, Obazda and pretzel bites, mouthwatering potato salad, and flavorsome chicken thighs.

Emirates Airline will be celebrating Oktoberfest on their current operations, including triple-daily flights from Dubai to Frankfurt and double daily flights to Munich, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg.
